Sample Setup

In order to demonstrate the amazing capability of Skype to function as a Telephone Hybrid in a Streaming Broadcast situation, I will be using my own setup as an example and reference.

My setup contains the following:

  • Computer 1: Main Workstation / Skype

    • M-Audio Audiophile 2496 Audio Interface
  • Computer 2: Bumper Music/Production Material Workstation
    • AthlonXP 2600+
    • 1GB RAM
    • 160GB RAID0
  • Alesis MultiMix 12FXD Mixing Board
  • Two CAD GXL2400 Cardioid Dynamic Microphones (two hosts, one for each host)
